Here You will find our collection old radio's. Most of them we bought for less then one Euro on free markets. Some of them where given to us. We started collecting them in the early eighties. Some of them work fine and some of them don't. Some have missing parts others are complete. At this moment We just collect them. They are sitting in boxes upstairs.  We hope you like them. We have at least 50 radio's now. We don't know exactly because We never counted them. Sooner or later they will be all on this site. If you have any further information about a particular model please mail us the details.

This is the last radio We bought. It's one of the most expensive ones. It cost us 4 Euro. We bought it on a free market held because of our queens birthday in Tegelen. 30-04-2002.

It's special because we know when we bought it en how much we paid for it. We have tested it and everything worked fine.

The radio works well but the cassette deck doesn't work.

When you put in a tape in the deck it doesn't run the tape.

We don't know if this one works.

The volume knob and the wavelength knob are missing.

But there is a good chance they might be upstairs in one or another box.

The knobs are missing, but from this one we are sure that the must be upstairs in a box.

The radio was sold by Hasperhoven in Borne (The Netherlands)

Well we made a start. More to come later. If anyone knows a web site where we can find out more about old radio's please mail us the web address of those sites. We really like to know more about our collection. (We already know about www.gutefahrt.com)  ,but the radio's showed there are mostly older then ours. We guess our radio's are from the sixties, seventies and early eighties. But then again we aren't sure. So any information will be appreciated. Leave your info here.

The most beautiful one. Totally chromed! It's in our split.

Everything works, it's a 4-band radio (L-M-K-U)

It's also one of the first ones we bought. It isn't original because the chrome front plate should be sprayed silver-gray. But as we bought it, the sprayed part was damaged. As we cleaned it, it happened to be totally chromed underneath we decided to leave it this way. The knobs aren't original too. They come from the radio that was in the car as we bought it. We put this ones on because they have nice chrome rings in it, the original ones where totally black. And it's hard to see in this picture, but we put small VW emblems on the knobs. We really love this one!!
